Mr. Akihisa Kakimoto is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. He has been part of the Mitsubishi group since 1984 and has covered various functions in sales and marketing, operations, research and development.

Mr. Kakimoto graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University, Japan and a Master of Business Administration from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.
